Pretty in Pink

I've been in Minneapolis, MN the past few days with my family and my daughter's dance team at their National Dance Competition.  It is her senior year so is it both exciting and sad.  She did a trio and received 4th place with only having 4 practices and the girls choreographed it themselves.  I'm so proud of her.

My favorite sketches are the SFYTT.  I'm sad that they are once a month since I almost forget about them now. The sponsor of this month is Anita be Stampin'.  I used the Busty Betsy digital image for my layout.  You can see from the lace on my daughter's costume and the wallpaper where I was getting the images for my layout since that was what I was seeing this weekend.
I also submitted this to Dream Valley Challenges  http://dreamvalleychallenges.blogspot.com/ which is Anything Goes for there Challenge #1.

Karen's Doodles Animals

Karen's Doodles has a challenge to have a card/project with animals.  I used the image "It wasn't me"and tried to make it look like my Siamese-Himalayan cat, Casio.  He doesn't have claws; however, he still likes to pretend and scratch at things.  I just picture him with that sinister smile.  I used last weeks Sweet Stop sketch.  I used flower soft to look like stuffing coming out of the chair.

Kenny K Circles/Bearly Mine Pearls- Ribbon & Skipping Stones

Kenny K has a challenge for circles so I used the Miss Fortune stamp and put her on a circle nestabilities.  I didn't plan for it to be a monochromatic card, but it turned out that way.  I wanted to use a different color for her outfit so I chose purple.  I also wanted to use this for the Bearly Mine challenge which is pearls and ribbon.  I used a pre-designed pearl arrangement by Recollection that had a piece of lace attached.  I used the Bearly Mine free July papers which were a purple background and a purple/teal dotted paper.  I used a fiskars punch which also had circles.  I included some Prima flowers (my favorites) one which had a purple pearl in the center.
And that is how it all came together.

Mojo 177 & Bugaboo Anything Goes

Mojo 177
I made a sympathy card for a co-worker that had her father pass away.  This is the second sympathy card for a father in the past month, which is concerning.  Another co-worker left to go check on her father who is having some health issues and he is 90 years old so there is some concern there also.  I don't like this theme.
