Princess a Very Happy Birthday to You

My daughter's birthday will be in September so I figured I better get making the card.  I usually refer to her as my princess so I made this card using Mo's image.  She thinks she will be sooooo old at 22, boy does she have a thing coming.  I used this reasonable sentiment from TLC.  I had only a little of this gorgeous lace left.  I had to put on these wonderful roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Pig and Pumpkins harvest of memories

Fall is my favorite season because I love the change of color.  I love to see the leave change color; however, I do not like to rake the leaves once they fall.  The vibrant colors of oranges, golds, reds, browns are just a splendor and here in Wisconsin where we have so many trees it is wonderful.  I love the crisp cool mornings and evenings yet the warm days.  We can still do so many outdoor activities so it is a great time of year.  For my card, I used the stamp of the month From the Heart Pumpkin Pig Wit.  The sentiment is from a wonderful set from TLC and the patterned paper is also from TLC.

Happy Birthday! hope it's Par-fect

I have a friend is a golf addict.  I thought this would be the best card that I've made in awhile.  I used an image from Digis by Kris.  I used a circle and embossed dots in it to make it look like a golf ball.  I also used a border punch for the grass.  For the inside of the card, I used the sentiment from this set and punched it out on an oval.  I added a green oval and a pennant to look like it was on hole number 9.

Back to school

My daughter is starting her senior year at college...I can't believe it.  I can't believe that I still send her a card a week too.  She loves it and it helps her get through the year.  Sometimes I add a little treat like a gift card to Starbucks or Target.  This summer went by so fast I just can't believe it.  Usually she has spent the summer at home; however, she stayed at school so it was a real empty nest for me.

Gingerbread cookies share

For this week at Imagine That I used the adorable Gingerbread Scenes girl gingerbread to make my card.  I used patterned paper and a sentiment from TLC.  I love gingerbread cookies so this set always makes me smile.  I am trying to keep a slow pace on making Christmas cards all year long so that I won't be in a mad rush at the end of the year since I need quite a few.

PEEP

I have this wonderful friend that I have many messages for and haven't heard back from so I have been worried about her.  I even called her son who told me she was having some problems with her phone, but that she was fine.  In this day of modern technology if we can't reach someone immediately, it makes us panic.  So I made this card to send her the "old fashioned" snail mail way.  The image is from QKR and I used Glossy Accents on the water.  The sentiment is from TLC.

What happens on the tractor

I colored this wonderful image by Imagine That digis by Kris.  The sentiment is from TLC, Create.  For this shape I used Spellbinder Label Thirty Eight and then embossed the brown to look like tractor wheels.  I argue with a friend over red versus green tractors and this set comes with a green tractor so I colored this one red.  We just went to the State Fair last week, and I can't believe the cost of tractors!$$$!

Bacon in the sun

I'm not one for laying out in the sun since I have too much oncology experience, but I just love the humor of this pig and sentiment from Bugaboo.    Actually the thought of sipping on a drink today is a good one....
For my paper since it has bottle caps, I used one as an embellishment.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the outdoor weather.
