Count the waves in the ocean

I wanted to make a card that actually wasn't a fall or Christmas holiday card.  I just purchased this image from QKR which I think is so funny...a fish with big lips.  I found the perfect sentiment at TLC.  So this is what I came up with.

Maybe it's because I went to the eye doctor this week and had my eyes dilated that I have another eyeball card for Halloween.  This is another image from TLC, Create that comes from a great set.  Since I have blue eyes and I have Siamese cats that also have blue eyes I went with that.

Autumn Apples

I made this card using the Stamp of the Month From the Heart.  I colored it with my copics and then added some white cloud die cuts.  The sentiment is from TLC, with a couple of apple die cuts put on pop dots.  I kept the card simple which is the twist for this week.  I made this an easel card.
This is the only time of year that I buy caramel dipping sauce for my apples, yum.

You make life sweet

I have one more post for today. Paulette posted this wonderful freebie this morning at TLC and I just had to use it with this card.  I had this image already colored so I just put it together.  I put Crystal Accent on the jar to make it look like glass.  Now....I have to get some sleep and quit playing.  I haven't had a chance to craft like this in a LONG time so it's been fun.

Let's SQUASH cancer!

My Mom had breast cancer five years ago and I feel so lucky that she is a survivor.  She has triple negative so she has a high risk of recurrence so we are so fortunate it has not returned.  She participated in a clinical trial, and went through a lot.  She is on vacation right now, and that always gives me a reminder of what it would be like to not have her in my life since I feel that I should not call her during her time away.  That is soooo difficult for me since we talk every couple of days or at least I know she is available.  When she is on vacation, I have this panic that she isn't around.
For this card, I used the wonderful image from Imagine That Digis by Kris which also happens to be our image for this month's progressive challenge.  If you join the challenge you can get next month's image for free.  the patterned papers are from TLC.
